An 80-year-old woman is in critical condition after being attacked by seven stray dogs, which were later killed by an angry mob in Kaghorwe Two Village, Nyakiyumbu Sub-county, Kasese District.

There has been no official comment from the police yet, but the area Local Council Two Chairperson, Mr. Selevest Kalhamba, identified the victim as Ms. Specioza Masika Nyakinoho, a resident of the same village.
Mr. Kalhamba told our reporter this evening that the first four dogs, which belonged to Kathembo Kalagalaga, were later joined by three others of unknown ownership before launching the attack on the elderly woman.
According to Mr. Kalhamba, all seven dogs were killed, and the local court directed Kathembo to cover the victim’s medical expenses.
