    736 farmers in Bulembia & Nyamwamba division have received garden tools from WWF

    About Seven hundred thirty six farmers in Bulembia and Nyamwamba division, Kasese Municipality today received garden tools from World Wide Fund for nature (WWF) through ministry of water and Environment to control disaster challenges in the area.

    While delivering tools including pick axes, Hoes and Spades among others at road barrier playground in Nyakasojo upper, the Resident district commissioner Lt. Joe Walusimbi strongly warned farmers against selling them but rather put them into use.

    The district councilor for Nyamwamba division Hon. Alexis Ategeka who represented the local council five chairperson urged farmers to practice terracing method as a way of controlling running water in mountainous areas. Hon. Ategeka speaking…
