Seven deaths were registered in several incidents in Kasese district during the Christmas season, a police report has said.
The Spokesperson for Rwenzori East Region, SP Luke Mbusa who called for more consciousness by road users, confirmed that seven people died from the nineteen registered incidents as a result of; road accidents, murder and River Dawning among others.

SP Luke later called for peaceful living as a result of round table resolution to family challenges, before reporting an incident during the festivals where a woman attempted to burn his husband over domestic disagreements.
He later asked the community to continue collaborating with Police on matters that disrupt their peace. END
