A 66 year old man has committed suicide by hanging this morning in Kyabikere two cell, Kithoma-Kanyatsi town council in Kasese District.
No official comment yet from police but the Chairperson Local Council three for Kithoma-Kanyatsi town council, Mr. Milton Mbwarara confirmed and identified the deceased as Jerome Matsipa whose body was discovered in his garden by his daughter dangling on a tree.
It’s alleged that late Matsipa committed suicide after his wife had gone for an overnight prayer at a nearby catholic church.

This is the second case of suicide in Kyabikere two cell in less than three months.
Meanwhile, health workers at Kasese Municipal health center three in Kasese Municipality are struggling to rescue the life of a 17 year old girl, who was retrieved from River Nyamwamba after attempted suicide.
The In-Charge Kasese Municipal health center three, Mr.James Mwiruwabo confirmed without divulging the names of the patient.
Mwiruwabo who strongly condemned the act asked people to share their grievances with relatives and friends before making uncalled for decisions. Mr. Mwiruwabwo on Suicide ……
He said the patient was rescued by Amon Mutsukunda, the Vice Chairperson Local Council one Nyamwamba west cell. END.
