Mr. Johnson Basuba Kahalhamawa, a 60 year old local resident of Kihara cell in Kasese Municipality, has commended Kithulha Cares Initiative, for the mama kits she donated his three expectant wives.

Kithulha Cares Initiative, is said to have donated mama kits to at least 200 expectant mothers mainly in Kyondo-scheme ward, Kihara cell and Kogere ward in Nyamwamba Divisions in Kasese Municipality, with a call on the beneficiaries to live by the technical guidelines by the medics.

In his speech, Mr. Francis Mugisa Kithulha, the Executive Director for Kithulha Care Initiative, encouraged expectant mothers to embrace antenatal and deliveries as health facilities for safety and to back records that would help government in the planning process for the future.

Earlier, Ms Gloria Masika, an Administrator with the initiative, encouraged fathers to escort their pregnant wives for antenatal care and shun the services of the Traditional Birth Attendants she said do not have the expertize and equipment to deal with some emergencies. END
