49 Deacons at St. Paul’s National Major Seminary Kinyamasika yesterday graduated in theology and commissioned by the Ordinary of Hoima Catholic Diocese, Rt. Rev. Vincent Kirabo.
Rt. Rev. Kirabo implored the Graguands and the religious to be “Team Jesus” and encouraged them to become prayerful, but also reminded the deacons that formation is continuous even after the seminary life.
Rev. Fr. Dr. Vincent Muhindo, the Rector St. Paul,s National Major Seminary Kinyamasika, advised Graguands to maintain good values and descipline learnt at the seminary as they execute pastoral duties.
The 27th Graduation was held under the theme, “Here Iam Lord; send me” (Isaiah chapter 6 verse 8).
St. Paul’s National Major Seminary Kinyamasika is among the five major seminaries in Uganda founded in 1992 by the Uganda Episcopal Conference to foster the call to the holy priesthood of Christ. In Diocese of Kasese, the Graguands include, Dn. Fredrick Masereka, Dn. Moris Thembo and Dn.Edinus Mumbere. END.
