Police in Kisinga sub-county in Kasese District is holding a 46 year old man over allegations of assaulting a loans officer in Lhuhwahwa village, Kasese Guide Radio can reliably report.
The area local council three chairperson Mr. Julius Mukeri confirmed the information and identified the suspect as Mr.Donia Asaba, who reportedly flexed muscles with a loans officer working with Kagwirawo savings and credit group, as he came to recover the loan in vain and attempted to go with a goat mortgage after his wife, Ms. Brenda Kimulya failed to service her outstanding loan. Mukeri said the loans officer who was pounced at by Mr. Donia is currently receiving treatment from a yet to be identified health facility.
