A forty years old man was last evening found dead after committing suicide by hanging himself in a coffee tree in Kyanika village in Maliba subcounty, Kasese district.
Kasese guide radio has not yet received statement from Police but the Chairperson LC One for Kyanika village in Maliba Sub County, Kasese district Mrs. Esther Kisuki confirmed the information and identified the deceased as Selevest Masereka.
Mrs. Esther who said the cause is not yet known told this radio that the body will sleep in the garden as they wait for police to carry out investigations this morning.
She has partly attributed suicidal cases to drug abuse and excessive consumption of alcohol among some members of the community.
