Parents and Guardians of school going children at 3Wise men’s star Kindergarten and primary in Kasese Municipality are to undergo free Computer lessons next year, Kasese Guide Radio has learnt.
Addressing the media shortly after General parent’s meeting, the school Director, Mr. Baritazale Benson Kule said the computer skills to parents would enable them easily monitor the learning process of their children without necessarily coming to school.
The retired Commissioner for secondary school education standards later said the computer module that will also benefit parents and guardians who never attained formal education, will skill them to use their phones to receive or send information about their children. Mr. Baritazale on computer………
Mr. Joseph Twine, an instructor with Dot Saidia at 3 wise men’s star Kindergarten and primary school said other than monitoring their learners, parents will also use the same computer skills to access the performance of their children and handle their financial obligations.

The Kasese Municipal Principle Education officer, Mr. Seith Ahebwa who launched the program said, the computer system which partly contains an education management information system, will also monitor the attendance and performance of teachers at the school.
