A 32 years old man survived lynching by an angry mob this morning in Basecamp lower cell, Kasese Municipality, over allegations of theft.
No official comment yet from Police, but the area Local Council one Chairperson, Mr. Jafali Kigutiha confirmed the information and identified the suspect as, Mr. Godwin Bwambale, a resident of Kibenge cell, who was reportedly caught in possession with stolen firewood.
Mr. Kigutiha who looked sympathetic to the suspect after he pleaded guilty and asked for forgiveness received caution from the local leadership and asked to return the firewood he stole from a one, Ms.Felesi Musoki. Mr. Kigutiha Speaking……

Ms.Felesi Musoki, said she became suspicious after realizing that her firewood was missing in her garden, leading to a search in Mawa Market where she found the suspect transporting her firewood on a boda-boda. END.
