The Local residents of Kitooro cell in Kasese Municipality were treated to drama like scenario as a 30-year-old good looking woman was rescued from angry local residents who randomly beat her several strokes of a cane for reportedly stealing bed sheets.
According to the local residents, Ms. Rosette Mbambu, the suspect had stolen several items and sold them to some un suspicious local residents in and outside their cell.
The seemingly remorseful Ms Rosette, a mother of two children said the situation was forced by her financial challenges forced by limited casual job activities as a result of the current biting economic situation.

Mr. Adams Penzi said he had seen the woman through the window and later caught her as she reappeared with a polythen bag to pack the rest of the clothes hang out on his clothesline. Mr. Penzi speaking……
