The Chief Magistrates Court sitting in Kasese yesterday (01st.July.2022) remanded three police officers to Mubuku Government Prison until 18th July, 2022 on allegations of aggravated Robbery.
Presiding Judge His worship James Opiyo remanded remanded Assistant Inspector of police Lwesabula Peter 43 years the in-charge scenes of crime at Kasese central police station, Driver Special police constable Saidi Mwanza 44 attached to Hima police division and Mr. Mansur Jimmy 33 a resident of Nyakasanga in Kasese town.
Court heard that on 17th July,2022 while at Nyakasanga police Post in Kasese town, the due Robbed five million shillings, three thousand six hundred US dollars and Gold.
The deputy Resident state attorney Kasese Mr. Basomi Wamudaki said the suspects stole the money and Gold from one Mr. Peter Bulscsu on Gun point. Mr. Basomi on Gold 1….
Mr.Basomi said the same suspects detained the Gold Business Man for nearly two hours after stealing Gold and Money from Peter and alleged he was was collaborating with ADF Rebels.
