At least three primary schools out of seven at St. Yohana Maria Muzei-Nyakahya Catholic Model Parish Diocese of Kasese has managed to score grade one and above in this year’s pre-primary leaving examination.
Releasing the results yesterday at the Parish headquarters in Mpodwe-Lhubriha town council, the secretary for Education Head Teachers Association St. Yohana Maria Muzei Nyakahya Catholic Model Parish, Mr. Wilfred Musubaho said a total of 364 pupils sat for pre-exams.
Mr. Musubaho, identified the best primary schools as St kizitu-kituti followed by Kathero model school in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council, with the worst primary schools registered in Isango sub-county.
According to Musubaho, the best performed subjects were social studies, Science, Mathematics and English being the worst.
