    26 year old man remanded to jail over loss of over 4M shilligs in MLTC

    A twenty six year old man has been remanded until June 22nd 2022 over loss of millions of money at an MTN distribution shop in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council in Kasese district.

    Prosecution told court that one Brian Muhindo, a mobile money attendant at an MTN Majestcom Bwera branch did not account for 4.5 million shillings mobile money cash and a transaction cellphone.

    Presiding over court on Wednesday, the chief magistrate at Kasese, His Worship James Opiyo James send him on remand at Mubuku prison till June 22nd after taking of not guilty.

    Earlier, Court heard that on 5th May, 2022 while working with MTN Majestcom Bwera Branch, Mr. Brian disappeared with the said cellphone and the money on. END.
