The Bukonzo West county Member of Parliament Hon. Godfrey Atkins Katusabe described as disrespect by some political leaders who do not promote dialogue while dealing with the Church but handle faith based Institutional leaders the same way they treat their counterparts in politics.
In a cellphone interview with this radio, Hon. Katusabe expressed his disappointment the way some politicians in Kasese handled the tripartite agreement involving Kilembe Mine hospital, the government of Uganda and the Diocese of Kasese mainly after the 2020 devastating floods that swept a large part of Kilembe Mines hospital that was later accommodated by the diocese of Kasese.
To Hon. Katusabe, write-ups by a number of political leaders from Kasese to the center were inevitable before appreciating Bishop Francis Kibira`s efforts and dialoguing with Ordinary of Kasese who has been cooperative and his contributions visible in the operations of the health facility he has partly funded for decades.
He describes it as indiscipline by some politicians whom he blamed for inciting the public about the Kilembe –Diocese of Kasese partnership in the hospital than guiding the community about the facility which Catholic Church has financed for long.
