A seventeen year old girl was yesterday rescued from an angry mob that intended to lynch her over theft allegations.
Police spokesperson for Rwenzori East Region, SP Nelson Tumusime confirmed the information and identified the suspect as one Sharon Muhindo, a single mother who allegedly stole four hundred thousand shillings from Ms Jacqueline Kemigisha, a local resident.
