The local leadership in Karambi subcounty is in consultation with police over an incident perceived to be an act of abortion by a sixteen-year-old girl, Kasese Guide Radio has learnt.
Hon. Hawa Atholere, the Karambi subcounty vice chairperson said the incident involved a sixteen-year-old senior two young girls, a resident of Kisanga village who for two days was taking concentrated black tea under suspicious circumstances.
She said her discussion with the girl’s grandmother she stays with suggests that Ms. Jenina Biira not her real name aborted her four months’ pregnancy last evening after several excuses not to go to school.

Hon. Hawa who is the Sub County woman councilor for Kisolholho parish, was disappointed that young girls were engaging in double sin of fornication and abortion.
