Police in Bwera has retrieved the dead body of a thirteen year old boy from a drainage channel in Kyabolokya one cell, Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council in Kasese district.
No official comment yet from police but an eye witness and resident in the same area, Mr.John Mubatsi identified the deceased as Darius Mumbere, resident of Kisolholho-Kiyonzo village in Karambi sub-county.

The area where grasshoppers are tapped in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council is adjacent to a big and deep drainage channel that passes through Kyabolokya and pours water in Mpondwe River.
By press time the deceased body had been transported to Bwera Hospital Mortuary for postmortem.
