The Resident District Commissioner Kasese Lt. Joe Walusimbi, yesterdayC26th/November.2020) received 104 residents of Mpunga sub-county in Kasese district that defected from the Forum for Democratic Change-FDC to NRM.
The RDC, who is on mobilization for President Museveni and NRM flagbearears ahead of 2021 polls, received the defectors during a cadres meeting held at St. Mark Nyakazinga church of Uganda in Mpunga sub-county.
The group consisted of the former FDC district woman councilor for Rukoki and Greater sub-county, Rebecca Kabyanga who is now the NRM flag bearer for Mpunga-Rukoki sub-county among others.
