The National Unity Platform has outlined its selection process for the party’s flag bearer in the upcoming Kawempe North by-election, revealing that the decision will be split between a public debate and a constituency survey.
According to NUP Secretary General Lewis Rubongoya, the 10 aspirants who expressed interest will engage in a public debate, an exercise that will account for 50% of the selection criteria and the remaining 50% will be determined through a ground survey conducted by the party’s Election Management Committee.
