Ten councilors, all members of the ruling NRM party in Kasese have reportedly passed un opposed, the Kasese district registrar, Hajji Suleiman Kato has said.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio at his office in Kasese town, Hajji Kato listed the five district councilors as Hon. Hamu Natuhwera from Nyakatonzi sub county, Hon. Christopher Machumu of Karusandara sub county, Hon. Masereka Banjo, Hon. Justus Ngasirwa and Hon. Aidah Loi Mbabazi for the elderly, as well as the five of the Kasese Municipal council.
